Dr. Luke O’Rourke joins our team from Eugene, Oregon, where he practiced for more than seven years before relocating to Idaho Falls with his family. While in Oregon, Dr. O’Rourke served as Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Physician Practice Leader in a large multi-specialty practice, Oregon Medical Group. Dr. O’Rourke earned his medical degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine at Des Moines University in Iowa and completed his OB/GYN residency at Aurora Healthcare in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 2014.

As an osteopathic physician, Dr. O’Rourke takes a holistic approach to patient care, focusing on the connection between body and mind. He also has specialized training in the musculoskeletal system and has spent several years treating patients using Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM).

Dr. O’Rourke’s clinical interests include high-risk obstetrics and minimally invasive surgery, including procedures performed with the Intuitive da Vinci robotic-assisted surgical system.

He specializes in gynecologic robotic surgery and has performed hundreds of complex procedures for conditions such as endometriosis and large uterine fibroids.
