Gynecology

One of the most important aspects to ensuring your continuous good health is regular gynecological care.

At Monarch Healthcare we offer you our full array of gynecological services provided by our experienced doctors and staff. We make sure to get to know your individual needs so that we can deliver personalized care in a friendly and relaxed environment. In addition to obstetrics, our services include routine care aimed at maintaining your health and specialized care focused on treating any issues that may come up.

Our practice serves the needs of thousands of women and offers a friendly and warm environment to young women who are visiting a gynecologist for the first time, as well as expectant mothers, and women who have entered menopauses. We put all of our resources towards achieving the best results and improving our patient’s lives.

  • Women’s Wellness

  • Premarital Exams
A premarital exam is an important educational service we offer to help patients feel informed, confident, and prepared as they enter a new stage of life. During this visit, our provider focuses on open, respectful discussion about reproductive health, anatomy, and what to expect with sexual activity. It is often a starting point for conversations about contraception, menstrual health, and preventive care, along with a gentle physical exam when appropriate. In some cases, the exam may identify a hymenal variation that could cause discomfort, difficulty with tampon use, or pain with intercourse. When needed, a hymenectomy may be recommended. A hymenectomy is a minor, safe procedure in which a small amount of excess hymenal tissue is carefully removed to create a more typical opening of the vaginal entrance. This procedure is typically performed with local anesthesia, involves minimal discomfort, and has a short recovery period. Above all, these visits are designed to provide reassurance, answer questions, and support each patient’s individual needs with compassion, privacy, and professionalism.
  • Urinary Incontinence and Other Pelvic Health Concerns
Our providers take a comprehensive, compassionate approach to diagnosing and managing conditions such as urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, pelvic pressure, and pelvic organ prolapse. As part of your care, we frequently collaborate with specialized pelvic floor physical therapists. Pelvic physical therapy can be highly beneficial for strengthening and restoring the muscles that support the bladder, uterus, and surrounding structures. This type of therapy is often recommended for patients experiencing pelvic relaxation, discomfort, or changes in bladder control.

We regularly refer patients for pelvic floor physical therapy to address:

    • Urinary incontinence
    • Pelvic pain or pressure
    • Pelvic organ prolapse
    • Pelvic floor dysfunction or relaxation

In addition, some obstetric and postpartum patients may benefit from pelvic floor therapy as part of their recovery, helping to restore strength, improve function, and enhance overall quality of life after pregnancy and childbirth.

Our goal is to ensure you receive the most appropriate, personalized care; whether that’s in our office or through trusted specialists we partner with. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, we encourage you to speak with our team about the treatment options available to you.
